{"id":1594,"date":"2020-08-05T14:05:19","date_gmt":"2020-08-05T14:05:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.numbas.org.uk\/?p=1594"},"modified":"2020-08-06T17:55:19","modified_gmt":"2020-08-06T17:55:19","slug":"numbas-lti-provider-v2-7","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.numbas.org.uk\/theme-testing\/blog\/2020\/08\/numbas-lti-provider-v2-7\/","title":{"rendered":"Numbas LTI provider v2.7"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We&#8217;ve just released a minor new version of the <a href=\"https:\/\/numbas-lti-provider.readthedocs.io\/\">Numbas LTI tool provider<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Changes in this version include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>A global dashboard view, showing resources which are active today.<\/li><li>An option to only show completed attempts when viewing the statistics for a resource.<\/li><li>When the student ends their attempt, they&#8217;re shown an encoded receipt which they can use as evidence of their score, even if no receipt email is sent.<\/li><li>Bug fixes around time zone handling, sending email receipts on attempt completion, cross-site security and text formatting.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We recommend updating any servers running the LTI provider as soon as possible, by following the <a href=\"https:\/\/numbas-lti-provider.readthedocs.io\/en\/latest\/installation\/ubuntu.html#updating-the-software\">upgrade instructions<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The installation instructions for <a href=\"https:\/\/numbas-lti-provider.readthedocs.io\/en\/latest\/installation\/ubuntu.html\">Ubuntu<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/numbas-lti-provider.readthedocs.io\/en\/latest\/installation\/rhel-7.html\">Red Hat Enterprise Linux<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/numbas-lti-provider.readthedocs.io\/en\/latest\/installation\/heroku.html\">Heroku<\/a> have all been updated.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We&#8217;ve just released a minor new version of the Numbas LTI tool provider.
